Food for Thought: How to be a Better Man.

Since the beginning of this site. I promised many articles and topics. But I feel like its about time to start covering deeper topics, and even giving my own opinions on life. I would like to label these topics as “Food for Thought”.

So this first one is title, “how to be a better man”. Not because you are not a man. Its just my opinion of what real men should be like. I’ll start off with the list and end with a little summary.

Be respectful, don’t demand respect.
Stand for what you believe in.
Protect the weak and innocent.
See the best in everyone and be optimistic.
Treat women like jewels.
Respect your own body and mind.
Self Control.
Put others before yourself. Always.

My personal belief is that if more men today would follow these guidelines, the world would be full of more “men”. Today’s men are often cowards, self-centered, abusive, negative and quick to temper. They are all seeking riches and respect. They rarely give respect to those who deserve it.

Been a while!

Hey guys Its been a while since I’ve written something. School has starting and I’m being bombarded with homework. I also work about 25 hours a week. My cousin is MIA. Our Skyrim guy is probably lost in…well, Skryim. That leaves us posting less stuff for you to read and doing it very poorly.

Another Earth – OT Review

This movie got me hooked from the moment I saw the trailer in the theaters. Although I did not watch it in the Theaters I decided to rent it as soon as it was released on DVD. All I have to say is that it was worth it. However it did take a while to get to the point which I do hate in any movie that I watch. Everyone who is going to watch this movie is expecting it to be about the other planet that suddenly appears in the sky. However this is not the case. In this movie a girl named Rhoda Williams, causes a car accident and goes to jail for 4 years. The only survivor is the father of the family which were killed. The film explores Rhoda and John Burroughs (the survivor of the crash) as she tries to make amends, apologize and do whatever she can to get rid of the guilt she is carrying with her. That is all I can say, except for the fact that the movie is really about the what-ifs. It really gets you to ask yourself the question, “could my life have been any different”.

The movie is thought provoking, and is an award winning film. Although it was filmed on a very low budget and that most of the camera work was done by hand. The soundtrack was also superb. This is a movie that will earn it’s place in my movie library! This is why I give it a 5 out of 5
