The PMS is a natural hormonal change that occurs in a woman’s body every month in preparation for pregnancy, starting from puberty and ending around the mid-40s, reaching approximately 28 days, and may range from 20 to 40 days; the first day of menstruation is the first day of the PMS, ending with the beginning of the next one.
Common PMS symptoms include: (abdominal pain, pain in the thighs, lower back pain, stomach disorder, sometimes vomiting, sweating, weakness and dizziness, diarrhea, or constipation).

Prohibited during your PMS
1- Carrying heavy objects.
2- Walk barefoot or sit on a cold floor.
3- Drink cold things or ice cream.
4- Eat sticky vegetables and fruits, such as okra, pumpkins, bananas, mangoes, etc.
5- Eat and drink acids such as lemon, orange, milk, and cheese.
6- Soft drinks, caffeine, and canned food.
7- Exposure to any air current or air conditioning, either cold or moderate.
8- Wash the vaginal area with soap and water.
9- Bathing with cold water during the menstrual days.
10- Remove excess hair from the body or experience catches because the skin is very sensitive in this period.
Desired during your PMS
1- Drink hot liquids.
2- Bathing with warm water as soon as the PMS is approaching, to remove congestion leading to pain.
3- Make snacks close and avoid hunger or a harsh diet.
4- Personal hygiene and changing sanitary pads every two or three hours.
5- Light abdominal and back massage to relieve pain.
6- Walking for half an hour a day during your PMS is very useful.
